These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply when you access or use ClipsConvert Audio ("we", "us" or "our"). By using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If mandatory consumer or other laws give you rights that cannot legally be limited by these Terms, those rights continue to apply.
2. The service
ClipsConvert Audio provides online tools for audio effects, recording, editing, mixing, analysis, visualisation and file export. Features may depend on your browser, device, available memory, supported codecs, permissions and the availability of server-side services. We may add, change, restrict or remove features to maintain or improve the service.
The tools are provided for general-purpose use. Processing results, BPM estimates, noise reduction and vocal cancellation may be imperfect and should be checked before relying on them.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the website lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- use the service to infringe copyright, privacy, publicity or other rights, or to process material you do not have permission to use;
- upload malicious content, attempt to compromise the website or its infrastructure, bypass security controls, or interfere with another person's use;
- send excessive or automated requests that overload the service, probe endpoints without authorisation, or attempt to access non-public server resources;
- misrepresent the output as certified, professionally mastered or guaranteed to meet a particular specification when it has not been independently verified.
4. Your audio and responsibilities
You retain your rights in audio you provide. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to record, upload, edit, convert, publish and distribute that audio and the resulting files.
You are responsible for keeping copies of your original files and checking exported results. Do not rely on this website as the sole storage location for valuable or irreplaceable recordings.
5. Website intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the ClipsConvert Audio name and branding, site design, page text, graphics, icons, and the website's software and code are owned by or licensed to the site operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use the tools for their intended purpose. You must not copy, republish, redistribute, sell, mirror, scrape or repackage the website or its protected materials without permission, except where applicable law permits it. These Terms do not override rights that cannot legally be restricted.
Some functionality executes in your browser, which means browser-delivered code can technically be inspected. Interface restrictions are intended only to discourage casual copying and do not guarantee that code or page content cannot be saved.
6. Processing, uploads and exports
Most tools process files in your browser. WAV export and other listed client-side features do not normally send audio to our server. To use MP3 export, you must separately opt in to sending the processed WAV to the server for encoding. That conversion may be unavailable, limited in duration or size, or affected by server capacity.
The conversion endpoint is designed to process the file temporarily and delete its generated MP3 output after it is streamed back. No user file library or long-term audio storage is provided. The website does not guarantee that all browsers will accept every input format or that every export will match a professional workflow.
7. Availability and disclaimers
We aim to keep the website useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or that results will meet a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties that can lawfully be excluded.
Links or integrations to third-party services may be governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or loss arising from reliance on an unverified processing result. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer rights.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use after the update takes effect indicates acceptance where applicable law recognises that effect.
